[food] Beesket! (aka customized smoothies!)

When we went to DDP last week, we were stuffed full of Vatos Urban Tacos (see my post on Vatos here), but after a bit of walking around we found ourselves hungry. We found a "design-your-own-smoothie" bar called Beesket. I'd heard of it before but hadn't tried it - but what better place to design your own smoothie than the Dongdaemun Design Plaza?

The design is basically this: you get a template and can put in three flavors to put in your smoothie (the template and flavors are hexagonal, representing a honeycomb... get it?). They then take your customization and make your smoothie! They figure out all the nutrition facts as well and afterwards you get a cool little intro about your smoothie and its components.

Overall, I thought it was a cute experience - it was fun to be able to experiment with our flavors (banana blueberry melon). Next time, I think I'll try to be braver and put in some kale - yikes, still afraid of that one!
